OUR STORY

The Eta Eta Lambda Foundation, Inc. traces its origins through the Eta Eta Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. which was established in Annapolis Maryland in 1959. Over the years, the chapter has provided service to Anne Arundel County through programs ranging from youth mentorship and academic scholarships for graduating high school students to holiday food baskets and various community service activities in low-income neighborhoods. 

 

In 2019 as the Chapter celebrated "60 Years Of Service" to Anne Arundel County, its members established the Eta Eta Lambda Foundation, Inc. to expand the breadth, depth and scope of services that can be provided to enhance the lives of the residents of Anne Arundel County and surrounding communities. The Foundation is a federally recognized charitable organization under IRC section 501c3 and is an approved not-for-profit organization in the State of Maryland.
